Vinod Aggarwal, the Managing Director and the Chief Executive Officer of VECV. Vinod has continuously been associated with the Eicher Group from the year 1983. And since then has directed various commissions across the Trucks, Buses, tractors, Gears, and Engines Businesses. He took up the role of the company’s CFO in 2006.
Eventually, he became the President of Eicher Trucks and Buses in the year 2009. Moreover, as CEO in July 2010 and Managing Director in October 2016. Notably, a Commerce graduate from Punjab University. In addition, he is twinkly qualified as Chartered Accountant and Cost & Management Accountant.

Details of the Company
ETB completed 31 years of operations in India in the month of June 2017. Then again, the first Eicher truck was rolled out from its manufacturing plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh in 1986. Over the past 29 years, the products have got endorsements from happy customers of over 6,14,000 vehicles.
Eicher 12-69 seater buses have a growing presence in the LMD school bus, staff, and route-permit segments. ETB has also made strong inroads into the heavy-duty trucks segment of 16T-49T with their “VE” series of Fuel Efficient heavy-duty trucks, and the next generation Eicher Pro Series of Heavy Duty Trucks.
Albeit, Eicher disclosed its new range of future-generation trucks and buses in Pithambur at a magnificent product launch on December 2, 2013. Namely, the “Eicher Pro” series. The Pro series trucks and buses guarantee to deliver the best of a kind considering the fuel efficiency, higher superior uptime, higher loading capacity, and overall vehicle lifetime profitability.

Memorializing the triumphant completion of 8 years of partnership between Eicher Motors and Volvo Group in July 2016, VE Commercial Vehicles Limited proclaimed the start of commercial production at the technologically superior engine manufacturing plant in India. The plant has been set up at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, India with an initial capacity of 25,000 units per annum in Phase 1 at an investment of Rs 375 crores.
