American businessman Mark Davis has ownership of the Football team. He also owns another sport franchise Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). His net worth was estimated at $500 million in 2015 and he holds a worth of $1.7 Billion at the current date.
In 1972, Mark’s father Al Davis joined the raiders as the general manager and head coach. In 1966 he purchased a 10% interest in the team for US$180,000 as a third managing general partner and in 2005 he became the principal owner of the Raiders with 67% shares as he bought all from McGah’s family with the player expense of $236 million.
After the death of the last surviving member Al Davis in 2011, his wife Carol Davis become the part-owner of the team and their only son Mark Davis became the new general managing partner.
